Whew, that was a scorcher! Thankfully the water break at Arastradero (and short gravel climb) kept us going for the 2nd half of the ride. Previous Egan ride leader Dirk Bergstrom took plenty of professional-quality photos us suffering on the ride. Below are a few of my favorites. Also, a final reminder that the University Road Race is this Sunday. The race is desperately short of volunteers, as UCSC just decided that we need a total of 18 marshals and wayfarers (volunteers at driveways and intersections to provide info and direct the riders. Please signup to volunteer at:
