A-Ride 9/25
Now that racing is over it’s time to get back to everyone’s favorite - base miles! This week we will explore the Santa Cruz mountains, riding through Big Basin, Boulder Creek, Empire Grade, and Zayante. Don’t miss the incredible descents out of Big Basin and Felton Empire or the smooth pavement on Zayante road. Given the warm temperatures, we will have several water stops which are marked below. If you plan on attending, please make sure to bring enough calories. I’d recommend at least 2K for the ride and don’t be afraid of being over-prepared. Someone will always appreciate the extra gummy worm 4 hours into the ride.
