A Ride 12/8/2024 - Uvas Biggie

Pack your pockets to the brim as we embark on the Uvas Loop this Sunday! This is a fun, fast route as we manage to stay away from any big climbs. We’ll be heading south on Foothill to Homestead, take the Mary bike bridge (avoiding Stevens Canyon, Mt Eden, etc), down to Hwy 9 through Los Gatos, up and over Shannon, Almaden, McKean, and Uvas. We come back the same way. It looks long (and yes it is), but we can easily knock this thing out in less than 5 hours. It could be a good opportunity to practice some pace lining and aero positioning. We will have a couple stops, but the objective of this ride is to keep it movin’! So please bring your bars and your malto as we brace for a speedy hundy.
